Business Leadership Program Overview
Being a leader is about thinking strategically and finding a way to overcome challenges. Our Business Leadership Program is designed to provide you a broader perspective on management issues and the challenge of succeeding in an increasingly global economy. The program emphasizes critical thinking and problem solving so you can prepare yourself for leadership in your business or organization.
At Empire State College, you have the opportunity to develop a degree program that reflects your business interests and personal goals. For example, you could design a concentration in:
- Business Administration
- Health Care Management
- Human Resources Management
- Non-profit Management
- General Business Studies
The program is designed to accommodate your busy schedule so you can fit a degree into your life. The Business Leadership Program features a combination of online course work and three face-to-face, weekend meetings per term at the college's Niagara-Frontier Center in Cheektowaga.

Credit for Prior Learning

You may also transfer up to 93 credits from regionally accredited colleges to a degree at Empire State College. (Credits must meet degree requirements and be applicable to your degree program to be eligible for transfer.)
Tuition You Can Afford
Empire State College tuition rates are among the lowest in the region. Undergraduate tuition is only $270 per credit for New York state residents (residency restrictions and other mandatory student fees apply).
In addition, many students are eligible for financial aid in the form of scholarships, loans, grants, or employer tuition benefits.
