Conference on Innovations in Technical Education to Advance Sustainability June 14-17, 2012 at Alfred State College

Conference organizers seek paper, poster, and panel presentations and invite submission of abstracts on any topic related to the conference theme. Educators and researchers are especially encouraged to make submissions that highlight innovations in technical education related to sustainable agriculture/food systems, renewable energy, entrepreneurship related to sustainability and “green” construction, though presentations are not limited to these themes.  Read more…..

Energy Panel: Financing and Performance Contracts
Learn from three SUNY colleges that have entered into energy performance contracts. Each panel member covered the structure of their performance contract, projects involved, how the contracts are financed and how much they are saving per year. Financing and energy efficiency incentive opportunities through NYSERDA were also presented.
